On Thursday, April 30, 2026, the Master's thesis defense in Mechanical Engineering, Production Department, was held for Engineer Al-Fatih Salah Al-Din Khalil Al-Shurbaji. The committee recommended awarding the Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Microphone Technology, to the school after his outstanding presentation of research on durability for critical tasks. The joint committee consisted of Professor Abdul-Fattah Bilal (Professor at the Faculty of Engineering, International University of Africa) as external examiner, and the following members: Brigadier General Engineer Hafiz Al-Awad (Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Makarri University) as internal examiner, and Brigadier General Engineer Dr. Abdul-Nasser Muhammad Zain (Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Makarri University) as supervisor.
