Registration steps

New undergraduate registration (Technical College)

We welcome and congratulate you all on your admission to Karary University. We wish you a successful academic journey and a fulfilling student life. Registration begins on Sunday, August 25, 2019, and ends on Thursday, September 12, 2019. Classes will begin on November 10, 2019.

Registration steps:

1. Withdraw registration forms from the Registrar's office (the Scientific Affairs’ Hall).

2. Complete all the forms: the registration form and the forms attached thereto.

3. Complete the required medical examinations and interviews at the relevant Committee's headquarters at the College of Medicine (first floor).

4. The academic fees (tuition + registration) are paid at the Omdurman National Bank (delegate for scientific affairs).

Note that the tuition fees can be as follows:

1. Be paid in full or in installments; the first installment is 50%.
2. The registration fee is SDP 4000.

 5. Secure four copies of the academic payment receipt and give one copy to each of the following parties:

1. Registrar's Office.
2. Office of Information Systems (new building).
3. The ID Card Office (the new building).
4. The Financial Department (Administration).

6. Ensure that the registration form and the payment receipt are approved by both the Financial Department and the Information Systems Office.

7. Pay the university uniform fees (at the Academic Affairs Hall).

8. Submit the registration form and the forms attached thereto, and a copy of the payment receipt to the registrar's office (before the end of the registration deadline).

Registration requirements:

• A copy of the Sudanese Secondary Certificate or its equivalent.
• Four (4) personal recent passport-size photographs.
• A copy of the national ID number.

Important notes:

• The student must complete the registration procedures at the designated place and time and ensure that the registration forms are submitted to the registrar's office before the end of the registration deadline.
• No registration is allowed after the registration deadline, and the student will lose their allocated place by the end of the workday on Thursday, September 12, 2019.
• The registration is finalized when the student has completed all the above procedures and submitted the registration forms to the College registrar's office.
• Withdrawing registration forms without completing the registration process does not guarantee the admission of the candidate.

Registration is officially finalized after the electronic registration system of the university approves the candidate data, and the registration forms are submitted to the College registrar.

College of technology is a house for military technology sciences and relevant sciences struggle in its teaching and development in the frame of state general goals, works to develop human capacity, sponsor it with science and training to serve home, its security and renaissance.

Goals:
Preparation of technicians to work in different units of armed forces and military manufacturing.

Conclusion of transformational, quality and competence upgrading training courses.

The engineering workforce is internationally recognized as a pyramidal structure comprising three main tiers: professionals/specialists at the top, technicians in the middle, and artisans at the base in an average ratio of 1: 4: 16. However, due to rapid and vast technological advancements, the workforce ladder has begun to shift to an oval-shaped structure, indicating an increase in the number of technicians at the expense of skilled craftspeople. The role of technicians has become so crucial that no proof is required. However, the term 'technician' lacks a precise definition. It is referred to as a mere link between the ‘professional’ and the ‘craftsman’. Owing to the wide gap between the two categories, ‘technicians’ are sometimes classified as closer to the ‘professionals’ and at other times as closer to the ‘artisans’. This, in turn, affects the curriculum content and study duration required for training technicians.

College Program Approval

The technical diploma programs in chemical, civil, electrical, and mechanical engineering have been approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and by the Sudan Engineering Council.

Academic Qualification:

Study at the Technical College follows a credit-hour system over five semesters, with a sixth semester of on-the-job training. After, the graduate will be awarded a technical diploma. The Technical College’s programs were designed in accordance with the recommendations of the Technical Education Authority and were recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

أجيزت برامج الدبلوم في تخصصات التقنية الكيميائية، المدنية، الكهربائية والميكانيكية من قبل وزارة التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي ومن المجلس الهندسي السوداني كذلك.

Students study a total of 100-110 credit hours, broken down as follows:

• 10-14 credit hours for humanities studies.
• 15-20 credit hours for the core curriculum.
• 15-20 credit hours for core engineering courses.
• 50-55 credit hours for department and specialization requirements.

Engineering college awards Military sciences diploma for cadets where they study about (2000) hours of communication in different practical and theoretical military fields which include field projects that qualify them to act in military field armored with science and training as armed forces office

The student studies 90 - 120 credit hours as below:

a-      22 credit hours for humanitarian studies include Islamic studies, Arabic language, English language and social studies.

b-     68 credit hours for college requirements include mathematics, engineering subjects, environmental subjects, engineering economy, engineering unit and workshops.

c-      90 -120 credit hours for section requirements and specialization.

rs. This situation is not applicable on civilian students who study at the university.
