The Faculty of Aviation Sciences at Karary University organized a prestigious ceremony to honor and bid farewell to the outgoing Dean, Major General (Pilot) Eng. Hussein Mohamed Osman Hussein, and to officially welcome his successor, Major General (Pilot) Eng.

The signing of the official transfer memorandum and the ceremonial handover of the faculty flag formalized the leadership transition. Heads of departments, instructors, and the entire faculty
workforce, including officers, non-commissioned officers, soldiers, and military students, witnessed this significant moment.

The grand ceremony was highly honored by the presence of senior state and military officials, including:

- Major General Eng. Fahmi Ahmed Dhuway—Commander of the Red Sea Strategic Direction
- The Commissioner of Port Sudan
- Unit commanders, departmental heads, executive leaders, and representatives from the higher education sector.

The event featured a rich agenda of cultural and ceremonial segments. Highlights included a formal presentation detailing the outgoing Dean's biography, a special honoring ceremony, and captivating performances by the military music bands of both the Faculty of Aviation Sciences and the Faculty of Maritime Studies.

- The incoming dean, Maj. Gen. (Pilot) Eng. Mohamed Suleiman Abdullah delivered remarks praising his predecessor's monumental contributions to the development of the faculty and the achievement of its strategic objectives.
