The Secretariat of Scientific Affairs at Karary University announces that the bridge program applications are now open for the colleges of
- Engineering
- Computer Science
- Administrative Sciences
For diploma-holding students.
Applications are accepted at the buildings of the Secretariat of Scientific Affairs in Banat (You can download the application form by clicking here)
Effective as of Sunday, April 12, 2026, through Thursday, April 30, 2026, subject to the following conditions:
1. Pass in the Secondary School Certificate or equivalent.
2. Achieve passing grades in the subjects required for admission to the relevant bachelor’s program.
3. Bridging must be from a diploma program major to a corresponding bachelor’s program.
4. Diploma holders with a grade of “Excellent” or “First Class” are eligible for bridging one year after graduation.
5. Diploma holders with a grade of “Very Good” or “Second Class, First Division” are accepted for a bridging program two years after graduation, provided they submit a certificate of work experience.
6. Diploma holders with a grade of “Good” or “Second Class – Second Division” are accepted for a bridging program after four years from the date of graduation, provided they submit a certificate of work experience.
7. Holders of a diploma with a grade of “Pass” or “Third Class” are eligible for a bridging program five years after graduation, provided they submit a certificate of work experience.
8. Secondary School graduates (Biology track), holding an engineering diploma, are eligible for the Bachelor’s bridging program upon meeting all requirements.
Documents Required for Application:
1. Application form
2. The original and a copy of the Secondary School Certificate or equivalent.
3. The original academic transcript and a copy certified by the General Administration for Admission, Evaluation, and Certificate Authentication.
4. A Copy of the national ID number.
5. A copy of the resignation for students who are candidates for another university.
6. A Copy of the payment receipt (50,000 SDP) – Application fees must be paid into the University’s account (27143) at Omdurman National Bank. Please include “Bridging Application/Student’s Name” in the remarks section.
