Introduction

The Department of the mechanical engineering tends to achieve the general objectives of the University of Karary as following:

1. Preparing and qualifying students academically and vocationally for having the scientific award of the courses of the faculty

2. Supplying the student with the technological and engineering sciences and qualifies the skills and intellectual capabilities to contribute and participates in the economic and social development of the country.

3. Offering the opportunities of education and scientific research to award the higher degrees in the field of specialization et the faculty.

 4. Link the student with the local environment through conducting of studies and scientific engineering research.

 5. Contribution in the development of industry and training and conduct application scientific researches. The student will join the Department of the mechanical engineering after a year of studding in general science department.
